Key responsibilities

• Assist in the structural design of projects from the schematic phase through the construction phase
• Draft structural systems for a variety of structures from start to finish with aid from the project manager
• Coordinate closely with all MEPS disciplines for cohesive drawing package
• Revise existing projects based on new information or permit comments
• Work with Engineers to create construction documents using AutoCAD / Revit

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed Bachelor of Science from an ABET-accredited university in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 0-2 years experience.
• Engineer Intern (EI) preferred or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 1 year Revit experience
• Working knowledge of structural systems and building code and safety regulations
• Knowledge and understanding of building construction regarding architectural and MEP preferred
• Understanding of structural design concepts
• Background in multifamily, ALFs, student housing, hotels, or commercial projects preferred
• Capable of reading and interpreting 2D/3D drawings
• Read, understand, and draft design instructions provided by Engineering team
• Field experience or construction support a plus
• Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and written instruction

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
