What they need
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (CONTRACT, HYBRID)
We're converting an open floor space into a 3-bedroom apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos, and need a structural engineer to lead the structural side of the project.
Responsibilities
- Assess the existing structure and advise on safe layout changes (new walls, openings, loads)
- Prepare structural designs, calculations and drawings
- Produce bills of quantities for structural works
- Carry out site inspections and supervise structural works
- Coordinate with the architect, contractors and client
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
Requirements
- B.Eng/BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 2-5 years' experience (building conversions or renovations is an advantage)
- COREN registration (or in progress)
- Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD Pro or similar, plus AutoCAD
- Reliable, independent and deadline-driven
Hybrid: 2-3 days on site in Ikoyi weekly, rest remote
Pay: ₦350,000-450,000 per month
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Pay: ₦350,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ikoyi
