Structural Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the structural aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of structural engineering principles, relevant design codes, and experience in coordinating with architects, consultants, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare structural designs, calculations, and analysis for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Develop structural drawings and specifications in compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure structural integrity and feasibility.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify and resolve structural design issues and provide technical support to project teams.
• Prepare engineering reports, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, safety standards, and industry codes.
• Review material submittals and shop drawings related to structural works.
• Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and value engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and structural drafting principles.
• Familiarity with international design codes and UAE construction standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE/GCC experience.
• Knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.
• Professional engineering certification or membership in a recognized engineering body is preferred.
