We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our engineering team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for structural design, analysis, authority approvals,

technical coordination, and supervision of structural engineering activities in accordance with

applicable UAE regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, industrial, and other building projects.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
• Ensure structural designs comply with Dubai Municipality (DM) requirements, UAE Building Code, and relevant international standards.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Manage and coordinate structural authority submissions, comments, revisions, and approvals.
• Review structural drawings and calculations prepared by junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct site visits and inspections when required to verify existing structural conditions and construction compliance.
• Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Resolve structural design and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project deliverables, deadlines, and technical quality.
• Provide technical support for existing buildings, modifications, extensions, and structural assessment works.
• Ensure all structural submissions are accurate, complete, and in accordance with authority requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant structural design experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong experience in structural analysis and design of buildings and related structures.
• Valid Dubai Municipality (DM) Accreditation as a Structural Engineer is required.
• Valid Trakhees Gray Card is required.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Building Code, Dubai Municipality regulations, and relevant authority requirements.
• Proficiency in structural design and engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE,

STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.

• Strong knowledge of ACI, BS/EN, ASCE and other applicable structural design standards.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing structural calculations and authority submission drawings.
• Experience handling authority comments, resubmissions, and technical coordination.
• Good understanding of reinforced concrete and steel structural design.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently manage structural design packages and deliverables.
• Previous experience in a consultancy/engineering environment in Dubai is highly preferred.

Preferred Profile

• Senior-level candidate with proven experience managing structural design packages independently.
• Experience with DM and Trakhees authority approvals.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Additional Requirement

• Arabic-speaking candidate is required.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Candidates should be able to effectively communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities in both languages.

Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
