About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer II to support the design, analysis, testing, and certification of advanced aerospace and defense structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural analysis, metallic and composite structures, and aerospace engineering principles.

This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace programs while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and analysis of advanced metallic and composite structures.
• Perform detailed structural analyses and identify opportunities for design improvements.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate structural solutions into larger systems.
• Develop, review, and execute structural test plans.
• Generate and review technical documentation, including analysis reports, drawings, and test reports.
• Participate in design reviews, customer meetings, and occasional travel in support of engineering activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in structural engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design fundamentals.
• Experience performing Static Analysis .
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
• Knowledge of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen .
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance .

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace and Defense industry experience.
• Experience performing classical structural analysis using hand calculations.
• Familiarity with fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
• Experience with NASGRO and/or AFGROW .
• Knowledge of FAA, NASA, and/or DoD design requirements and regulations.
• Experience supporting structural testing and certification activities.

• Fully onsite in Englewood, Colorado.
• Collaborative engineering environment.
