Our team works closely with Chartered Australian Engineers to deliver high-quality structural outcomes across residential, commercial, and civil projects.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer based in the Philippines to join our growing remote team. Working under the supervision and review of Chartered Australian Engineers, you will deliver structural design, analysis, and drafting documentation in support of our Australian project portfolio.

This is a fully remote, full-time role that offers genuine exposure to Australian Standards and international project delivery — all from the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for timber, steel, concrete, and masonry elements in accordance with Australian Standards
• Prepare detailed design calculations, mark-ups, and supporting documentation for review by Senior Engineers
• Develop and revise structural drawings including plans, sections, details, and schedules using AutoCAD LT and/or Revit Structure
• Review architectural and consultant drawings for structural coordination
• Deliver allocated tasks in line with agreed project milestones and budgets
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with the Australian team and respond promptly to review comments and redlines
• Follow company QA procedures, drafting standards, and documentation protocols
• Accurately record timesheets and meet utilisation targets

Requirements

• Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering (4-year degree or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in structural design consultancy
• Demonstrated experience preparing structural drafting documentation for construction
• Experience supporting Australian or international engineering projects (desirable)
• Philippine Professional License (desirable but not essential)
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills

Technical Skills

• Structural analysis software: SPACE GASS, Structural Toolkit, ETABS, or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD LT and/or Revit Structure for structural drafting and modelling
• Ability to produce accurate structural drawings including plans, sections, details, and schedules
• Knowledge of timber, concrete, steel, and masonry design principles
• Understanding of Australian Standards and documentation conventions (desirable)
