Structural Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for the structural design, analysis, and technical review of steel and structural works for our projects, working closely with project, site, and client teams to ensure designs are safe, compliant, and buildable.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures, supports, pipe racks, and related structural elements
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, material take-offs, and technical reports
• Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings for accuracy and compliance with project specifications
• Coordinate with the piping, fabrication, and site teams to resolve technical queries and design clashes
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
• Support site teams during fabrication and erection, including inspection follow-up and technical clarifications
• Prepare technical submittals and respond to client comments and RFIs
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of design deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in Oil & Gas, industrial, or MEP/contracting projects
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes (AISC, BS, Eurocode) and international standards
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla, or similar software, plus AutoCAD
• Good understanding of steel fabrication and erection practices
• Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills
• Fluent English; UAE experience is an advantage
• Ability to join immediately or on short notice
