structural engineer

Hayden Consulting Engineers is seeking a structural engineer with 2+ years of experience in the design of wood, concrete, masonry or steel structures. Candidates should be self motivated with good written and verbal communication skills. We work on projects of all sizes from large commercial projects to small residential projects.

We offer a flexible work schedule with competitive salary including 401k, bonuses, health coverage, dental coverage and gym membership. A bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and EIT certification is required, PE Licensure is a plus. Coursework in wood, concrete, steel, and masonry design preferred.

We keep a relaxed yet professional work environment. We do company lunches each month and one Summer and one Holiday event each year (things we’ve done in the past are the Portland Spirit Cruise, Wine Tasting, BrewCycle beer tour, Edgefield golf, etc).
