Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing the structural engineering design, integrity assessment, fatigue analysis, and modification works for FPSO topside modules, hull conversions, turret interfaces, and primary/secondary marine structures.
You will work closely with cross-functional EPCIC project teams, classification societies, naval architects, and offshore construction yards to ensure structural safety, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective execution across the full lifecycle of FPSO asset delivery.

Key Qualifications & Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Offshore Engineering from a recognized university.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly advantageous.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of direct structural engineering experience within the offshore energy sector, with a proven track record on major FPSO / FSO conversion or newbuild projects.
• Strong working knowledge of FPSO hull structural design, topside module integration, flare tower dynamic design, and turret interface structures.
• Experience in transportation/marine operational structural design (heavy-lift, seafastening, launching, upending).
• Structural Analysis Software: Proficiency in SACS, SESAM (GeniE, HydroD), ANSYS, or AISC-based FEA packages.
• CAD / Modeling Knowledge: Familiarity with AVEVA PDMS/E3D, Navisworks, or AutoCAD for structural review.
