Structural Engineer

Anotech AE is an engineering and architecture company delivering projects in Romania and internationally.

We specialize in structural assessments of existing buildings and structural design , working on a wide range of structures, including masonry and reinforced concrete buildings, industrial facilities, steel structures, telecommunication towers, oil tanks, and other special structures.

We are looking for a Structural Engineering graduate to join our team and contribute to both the structural assessment of existing buildings and the design and detailing of new structures.

Location: We are primarily interested in candidates who currently live or work in Bucharest and are available to work from our office and participate in site inspections.

Key Responsabilities

• Develop FE models, technical drawings, and documentation for structural assessment and design projects.
• Participate in site inspections, structural surveys, field measurements, and condition assessments of existing structures.
• Prepare as-built structural drawings, construction drawings, and detailed structural documentation.
• Contribute to structural analysis, numerical modelling, and design verification, depending on experience.
• Support the preparation of structural assessment reports and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Previous professional experience in structural design, structural assessment, or structural detailing.
• Proficiency in CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Advance Steel, or similar.
• Experience in steel structure design and detailing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and FEM software (Midas GEN NX, Midas FEA NX, Midas GTS NX, or similar) is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
