Job Description & Requirements

Design & Analysis

: Perform structural analysis and design for steel members, connections, and framing systems.

Documentation

: Create detailed design drawings, calculation reports, and specifications.

Code Compliance

: Ensure designs meet relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

Coordination

: Liaise with architects, contractors, fabricators, and other consultants.

Software Proficiency

: Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD etc.) for modeling and drafting.

Project Lifecycle

: Involved in conceptual design, detailed engineering, fabrication review, and site support.

Site Visits

: Conduct site inspections to verify quality and adherence to design intent.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Degree in civil or related engineering trades.

Strong understanding of steel properties, structural mechanics, and physics.

Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD programs.

Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills.

Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
