Structural Engineer – Data Centre Construction Project

About the role

Manage and coordinate structural construction works for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Review structural drawings, technical documents, method statements, and material submissions, and coordinate with consultants and contractors
• Monitor on-site structural works, including foundations, concrete structures, steel structures, and other structural components
• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality, workmanship, and compliance with relevant standards and project requirements
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, MEP, and other engineering teams to identify and resolve structural issues during construction
• Prepare and maintain construction records, inspection reports, progress reports, and other project documentation

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering or construction projects
• Experience in data centre construction projects is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of structural construction methods, reinforced concrete, steel structures, and relevant engineering standards
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively on construction sites
• Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage, especially for communication with Chinese-speaking project teams
