What You’ll Do

• Perform structural analysis and design for residential and wood-frame buildings
• Prepare construction drawings and structural details
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants
• Conduct site visits and provide construction-phase support
• [Senior Only] Mentor junior engineers and assist with technical reviews

Compensation

• Junior Level: $70,000 – $90,000/year
• Senior Level: $90,000 – $120,000/year

Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EnerCal, Bluebeam, Excel)
• Solid understanding of California Building Code (CBC), ASCE 7, and wood-frame construction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• California PE license preferred (required for senior level)
• Junior: 0–3 years experience / Senior: 4+ years experience in structural engineering

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience working on Bay Area residential projects
• Familiarity with local permitting processes
• Interest in long-term career growth and leadership development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
