Structural Engineer (Oil & Gas), Lahore

Struvek delivers engineering drafting, BIM modeling and design support for AEC firms. We start with structural building projects and are growing into water, transportation and industrial structures. You will join a young team and work on real US projects.

Role summary

You will design and check structures for oil and gas facilities, such as pipe racks, equipment foundations, skid and equipment supports, steel platforms and process buildings. Your calculations and markups are turned into drawings by our modeling team. This role does not stamp or seal drawings; a licensed US engineer reviews final work.

Responsibilities

• Design and check pipe racks, steel structures, platforms, equipment and tank foundations, and skid supports.
• Apply wind, seismic, pipe, equipment and operating loads from project criteria.
• Design concrete foundations and anchor bolts for rotating and static equipment.
• Prepare clear calculation packages and design markups for the modeling team.
• Review drawings and models (including Tekla or Revit) against your design and flag errors.
• Report progress and design risks to the founder daily.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 4 to 8 years of structural design experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, power or heavy industrial projects.
• Hands-on skills in STAAD, SAP2000, ETABS or similar software.
• Working knowledge of ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318 and API standards, or willingness to learn them quickly.
• Experience with pipe rack and equipment foundation design.
• Examples of past design work or calculations (required).
• Good written English for calculations and updates.
• Available to work on-site in Lahore.

Nice to have

• Experience with international EPC projects or client standards (Aramco, Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron).
• Tekla Structures or SmartPlant 3D coordination experience.
• Offshore or modular structure experience.
• PEC registration or progress toward it.

What we offer

• Salary of PKR 180,000 – 250,000 per month, set by skill and experience.
