Structural Fabricator

• Read and interpret structural fabrication drawings and engineering specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, drill, and prepare structural steel materials as per drawings.
• Fabricate structural steel components such as beams, columns, frames, platforms, supports, stairs, and handrails.
• Perform fit-up, alignment, leveling, and assembly of structural components.
• Carry out grinding, edge preparation, and finishing of fabricated components.
• Coordinate with welders for proper welding and joint preparation.
• Check dimensions, alignment, and tolerances of fabricated structures.
• Use measuring tools and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure fabrication work complies with project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with QC inspectors, supervisors, engineers, and other fabrication team members.
• Identify fabrication defects and carry out necessary corrections.
• Follow company HSE procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely during fabrication activities.
• Complete fabrication activities within project schedules and production targets.

Desired Candidate Profile

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Fabrication, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in structural steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret structural fabrication drawings.
• Good knowledge of cutting, fitting, welding preparation, alignment, and dimensional inspection.
• Strong awareness of quality standards, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
