What they need

No mass production, but unique structures used in the offshore, dredging, oil & gas and heavy industries. As a Structural Fabricator Equipment Builder, you will work on lifting beams, winches, piping and complete installations that need to be accurate down to the millimetre.

From new builds to modifications, every project is different. You will work in a modern workshop as well as regularly on board vessels or at customer locations. There is a reason we say: “if it takes extreme precision.”

What will you be doing?

As a Structural Fabricator Equipment Builder, you will use technical drawings to build unique structures and equipment for industries including offshore, dredging and heavy industry. This ranges from lifting beams and winches to piping and components for complete dredging installations.

You determine the correct assembly sequence, align structures, carefully check dimensions and take material shrinkage and distortion into account.

You work according to the applicable WPS and welding instructions and coordinate closely with welders, engineers and the foreman. Multiple projects are often running at the same time. You maintain an overview, monitor quality and make sure everything is completed safely and according to schedule.

Before a project leaves the workshop, you inspect, measure and test everything one final time, ensuring that you deliver high-quality craftsmanship you can be proud of.

What do you bring?

You enjoy working on large-scale projects where precision matters. What you build today could be operating or sailing at a customer's site tomorrow. You work independently, think ahead and naturally put quality and safety first.

You also bring:

  • Experience building large structures or industrial equipment
  • Extensive experience with MIG/MAG welding
  • Experience reading and working from technical drawings
  • A valid VCA safety certificate, or willingness to obtain one
  • Knowledge of WPS, or the motivation to learn
  • Preferably knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 3834, EN 1090, Lloyd’s or DNV, or willingness to develop your knowledge in these areas
  • A good command of Dutch; English is an advantage

What we offer

You will join a down-to-earth organisation where craftsmanship is at the heart of what we do. You will work on exceptional projects that you won't easily find elsewhere, alongside colleagues who take just as much pride in their work as you do.

You can also expect:

  • A competitive salary based on your knowledge and experience
  • Plenty of opportunities to develop yourself further through education and training
  • 25 days of annual leave and 6.5 additional ATV days
  • A good pension scheme through PMT
  • Group discount on your health insurance

Working alongside skilled professionals

At Breman Wesco, we don't focus on mass production , we focus on craftsmanship. You will work on technical projects that demand expertise, precision and quality. It is exactly this variety that makes the work challenging. Every project is different and requires something new from your knowledge and experience.

You are trusted to carry out your work independently and given the freedom to contribute ideas about the best possible solution. Not because you have to, but because we believe skilled professionals make the difference. To us, quality is not just a final inspection, it is part of the entire process.

And perhaps most importantly, you will work alongside colleagues who take just as much pride in their craft as you do. We believe in short lines of communication, helping each other move forward and being straightforward with one another. No unnecessary hassle, just working together to create something you can genuinely be proud to put your name to.
