Structural Industrial Designer

Bring your structural design expertise to real-world, heavy industrial projects with a multidisciplinary engineering team across St. Louis, Tucson, and Mumbai. In this Structural Industrial Designer opportunity, you’ll develop 3D models and construction drawings, support multidisciplinary coordination, and help ensure buildable, accurate documentation.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Industrial Designer position include:

• Minimum 10+ years of structural design experience with steel and concrete structures for projects in cement, mining, or similar industries.
• Associate or technical degree in design from an accredited institution.
• Expertise in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, with strong AutoCAD and Revit experience.
• Build 3D models for steel and concrete structures, foundations, masonry buildings, process ductwork, concrete silos and bunkers, and steel bins and hoppers.
• Create, annotate, and deliver construction drawings under the direction of assigned engineers, including fully dimensioned drawings adequate for shop detailing and field construction.
• Run Navisworks collision detections and work with engineers to resolve inter-discipline coordination issues.
• Maintain material takeoff schedules in Revit and provide takeoff quantities as required.
• Travel to sites for data collection and inspection, including using laser scans to model existing structures when drawings are not available.

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
