Structural Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of construction activities, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Perform tests on materials (concrete, steel, etc.) to evaluate structural integrity and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Interpret and enforce building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Participate in site meetings to discuss quality control issues and resolutions.
• Monitor workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
• Provide reports and documentation to project managers and quality assurance teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in construction quality control, specifically in structural inspection.
• Experience in healthcare projects like hospital, clinic or laboratories is a plus.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using inspection tools and software.
