Structural inspector - Steel

We are seeking an experienced Structural Inspector with a strong background in steel structures, warehouses, and industrial projects . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil and structural works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, and finishing works.
• Monitor construction activities related to steel structures, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), warehouses, and industrial facilities.
• Verify that works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve site-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, site records, and quality documentation.
• Check alignment, levels, dimensions, and workmanship of foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and steel structures.
• Monitor adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Structural/Civil Inspector.
• Proven experience in:
• Building construction , Steel structure, Warehouse and industrial facilities projects
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, quality procedures, and inspection practices.
• Experience working with engineering consultants is highly preferred.
