structural mechanical engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze PEB and structural steel buildings.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, and drawings.
• Perform analysis using relevant structural design software.
• Design structural members such as columns, beams, rafters, bracings, purlins, and connections.
• Review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and shop drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable IS Codes, project specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Civil, MEP, Estimation, and Site teams.
• Check design inputs, loads, dimensions, and material specifications.
• Review and resolve technical issues arising during fabrication and erection.
• Provide technical support to the site team whenever required.
• Check structural drawings and ensure accuracy before submission to clients/consultants.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams for design approvals.
• Maintain proper records of calculations, revisions, and approved drawings.
• Ensure projects are completed within the required quality, cost, and timeline.

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering with specialization/experience in Structural Engineering.
• Experience in PEB / Structural Steel Design preferred.
• Good knowledge of structural design principles and IS Codes.
• Knowledge of structural analysis/design software such as STAAD.Pro, Tekla, AutoCAD, etc.
• Good understanding of steel structures, connections, loading conditions, and fabrication requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in PEB/Structural Steel Design preferred.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
