Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of structures and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points
• Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and accurately according to pesticide management guidelines and safety protocols
• Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, ladders, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas
• Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each property’s needs, emphasizing environmentally responsible practices
• Perform confined space entry safely when required for inspections or treatments in enclosed or hard-to-access areas
• Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, pest activity, and treatment procedures in compliance with regulatory standards
• Communicate clearly with clients about pest issues, treatment plans, safety precautions, and follow-up care
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols including respiratory protection use, ladder safety procedures, and chemical handling guidelines
• Assist with outdoor work such as lawn care, landscaping, or farming tasks that support pest control efforts when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pest control, pesticide application, or related outdoor work such as farming or landscaping
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, farm machinery, hand tools, and ladder use for accessing elevated or confined spaces
• Strong understanding of pesticide management practices and integrated pest management principles
• Knowledge of entomology related to common pests and their behaviors for effective control strategies
• Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection standards
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various outdoor environments
• Physical capability to perform outdoor work in different weather conditions using hand tools and power equipment

Pay: $25.95 - $31.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
