Our clients are major players in their field and well established for over 20+ years.

They are currently seekinga Senior Structural Project Engineer to join their regional operations at Perth.

The Role:

The Senior Structural Project Engineer will lead structural design projects, provide technical leadership and ensuring safe, practical and cost-effective solutions are delivered on time and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead structural design projects, ensuring delivery meets client requirements, timelines, budgets and quality standards.

·       Undertake and review structural analysis, calculations and steel designs in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.

·       Review drawings, calculations and 3D models to ensure accuracy, constructability and design compliance.

·       Collaborate with project managers, designers, fabricators and other disciplines to optimise designs for manufacture, transport and installation.

·       Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors, providing technical advice and resolving design and engineering issues.

·       Provide technical leadership and mentoring while supporting design reviews, risk management, fabrication/construction queries and continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

·       Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

·       Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural design/project engineering, particularly steel and infrastructure.

·       Proficiency in structural design software, preferably Space Gass.

·       Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, construction and detailing.

·       Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 5131, AS 1657, AS 4100 and AS 1170.

·       Strong ability to interpret technical requirements, manage multiple projects and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet deadlines.
