Structural Revit Technician

This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Revit Technician to join a well-established and highly regarded engineering consultancy in Christchurch.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects. Rather than being pigeonholed into one particular project type, you will have the opportunity to work across commercial developments, residential projects, high-end architectural homes and other interesting structural projects.

They are particularly interested in someone who enjoys the technical side of drafting and modelling and has strong Revit capability. You will work closely with structural engineers and experienced senior technicians, producing quality structural documentation and developing practical, buildable solutions.

A major attraction of this opportunity is the team around you. You will be joining an experienced group of senior people who are happy to share their knowledge, providing excellent mentoring and the opportunity to continue developing your technical skills.

About You
Ideally, you will have:

• 2-4  years' structural drafting experience
• Previous structural drafting experience within New Zealand
• Strong Revit skills – this is particularly important
• Experience producing structural drawings and documentation
• Exposure to concrete, steel and timber structures would be advantageous
• Good attention to detail and an understanding of practical construction
• The ability to work effectively alongside engineers and other technicians
