Structural Steel 3D & 2D Checker Team Leader

SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Structural Steel Detailing is a precise industry and demands 100% quality.

We are searching for experienced Structural Steel 3D and 2D, Checkers.

The position demands experience and knowledge of 3D and 2D checking and also as Team leader. Monitoring project progress and coordination of resources.

Adhere to Project Timeline, quality and budget.

A good knowledge of Tekla Software is a must with experience with AutoCAD.

Tasks will be checking 3D models and 2D dwgs against Architectural and Engineering design dwgs.

We service the Australian Steel Construction Industry.

Accommodation for candidates will be considered according to their home location in relation to office location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
At least 5years Experience in as Senior Checker and Team Leader.

Proficiency in Tekla Structures.

Strong ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
Ensure drawings comply with company drafting standards and relevant Australian Standards

Review models and drawings for accuracy, constructability and fabrication requirements

Coordinate steelwork with engineers, architects, builders and other trades.

Maintain a high standard of accuracy and quality throughout the detailing process.

Manage multiple projects and meet agreed project deadlines.
