Structural steel Engineer

Structural Steel Engineer: To manage the field installation, alignment, and quality control of heavy industrial steel frameworks. To inspect pipe racks, equipment support structures, and modular skids to ensure compliance with design drawings, load limits, and safety regulations.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years working on heavy industrial, oil and gas, or refinery projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading complex isometric and structural drawings, plus familiarity with analysis software like STAAD.Pro or Tekla.
• Standards Knowledge: Strong grasp of international codes (AISC, Eurocode, or IS codes)

Key Responsibilities :

• Site Supervision: Oversee the erection, alignment, bolting, and welding of structural steel.
• Quality Control: Check fabricated steel members for defects, proper fit-up, and tolerance compliance.
• Design Verification: Review site modification queries, connection details, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Safety Enforcement: Maintain strict compliance with oil and gas safety standards and heavy rigging protocols.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Work alongside piping, civil, and mechanical teams to clear interference clashes.
