As we expand our operations, we’re looking for a motivated Estimator to join our team and help us build with confidence.

Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Estimator who can accurately interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFQs to prepare detailed, competitive bids for steel fabrication and erection projects. This is a key role in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, with opportunities for growth as the company scales.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, drawings, and specs to prepare takeoffs and cost estimates
• Generate material, labor, and equipment pricing for structural steel and ornamental iron projects
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
• Coordinate with project managers and shop personnel for constructability input
• Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed
• Track bid results and maintain estimating logs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of estimating experience in structural steel and/or ornamental iron (preferred)
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and shop drawings
• Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel, EPM, or similar)
• Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
