Structural Steel Installers

Iron Action is looking for reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Structural Steel Installers to join our growing installation team.

We specialise in structural steel fabrication and installation projects, including but not limited to steel structures, balustrades, and related construction works. We are looking for individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, work well within a team, and want to grow with a developing company. This is an opportunity for the right candidates to become part of a professional installation team with long-term growth opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in structural steel erection, construction, or site installations
• Valid Working at Heights Certificate (advantage)
• Valid First Aid Certificate (advantage)
• Ability to safely operate power tools and hand tools
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights
• Ability to read and understand basic fabrication and installation drawings
• Able to follow site instructions and work according to project requirements
• Valid driver's licence will be an advantage
• Own transport
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude
• Clear criminal record

Experience

Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:

• Structural steel erection and installation
• Installation of beams, columns, balustrades etc
• Site measuring, levelling, alignment, and final adjustments
• Working from fabrication drawings and installation layouts

Key Responsibilities

• Install structural steel components and related structures
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and site equipment
• Assist with lifting, positioning, alignment, and securing of steel components
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe
• Follow all site safety procedures and company standards
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism
