Structural Steel Machine Operator

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Responsibilities

• Cutting stock material to size using horizontal and vertical saws
• Drilling beams, tubes angle and cannel on drill line
• Operate robotic 360 degree plasma cutting and etching machines
• CNC plasma plate burning
• Cut angle iron on CNC angle line
• Shear plate to size (20 ft and 12ft shear, 5/8 to 20 ton capacity).
• Operate CNC Press Brake to form various types of material.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing environment and in steel processing equipment, preferably with saw, grinders, CNC equipment, and cranes.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle materials.
• Frequently required to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment:

• The position operates in a manufacturing or warehouse setting with exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• May involve exposure to dust, dirt, and noise from machinery.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
