Position: Tekla Steel Modeler – Mid-Level to Senior Level
Location: Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3–8+ Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tekla Steel Modeler with strong hands-on experience in Tekla Structures and knowledge of AISC Standards. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D structural steel models based on engineering and design drawings for US-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
• Read and interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
• Model structural steel members, connections, stairs, platforms, and miscellaneous steel.
• Apply AISC Standards and project-specific detailing requirements.
• Create accurate and constructible models for fabrication and erection.
• Coordinate with Detailers, Checkers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
• Review models for accuracy, clashes, and completeness.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions into the Tekla model.
• Generate drawings, reports, and material lists as required.
• Resolve modeling issues and technical queries during project execution.
• Ensure models are completed within project schedules and quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Tekla Structures.
• Good knowledge of AISC Standards.
• Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication.
• Good knowledge of steel connections, bolts, welds, and structural members.
• Ability to understand and interpret structural drawings.
• Knowledge of fabrication and erection requirements.
• Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Experience

• Mid-Level: 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Senior-Level: 5–8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working on US structural steel projects will be an advantage.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred: Immediate joiners.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
