Structural Technical Support Engineer

About the Role:

This is not your typical post-sales technical support position. You need to understand structural engineering, engineering software, and customer scenarios all at once—and weave them together to help structural engineers in Hong Kong use YJK well, use it deeply, and use it where it matters most.

You'll go head-to-head with real technical challenges on live projects: from software operations to structural schemes, from code compliance to workflow design. Many problems won't have standard answers—you'll have to find them yourself.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deeply involved in technical services for YJK users in Hong Kong, solving complex problems at the intersection of software application and engineering practice
2. Lead client technical discussions, product demonstrations, and professional training—delivering substantive technical content, not just reading the manual
3. Track changes in Hong Kong's structural design codes and local engineering practices, and drive ongoing product localization
4. Document typical project cases and technical materials, building a technical knowledge base for the Hong Kong region

Requirements (in order of importance):

1. Strong self-drive—naturally curious about technology, willing to dig into problems until they're solved, doesn't need to be pushed
2. Background in civil engineering or structural engineering with solid fundamentals in structural design and analysis; prior experience in structural design or engineering consulting preferred
3. Hands-on experience using YJK on real engineering projects, with deep understanding of the software's core modules and calculation principles
4. Fluent in Cantonese, able to independently conduct professional technical discussions with Hong Kong clients
5. Good English proficiency—able to read English codes and technical literature, and communicate effectively in writing
6. Familiarity with Hong Kong structural design codes and local engineering practice is a plus
7. Experience with mainstream international structural analysis software such as ETABS and SAP2000
8. On-site client technical service experience, with the ability to independently analyze and resolve issues in the field
