About the role
We are an established Industrial Building Consulting firm in Seberang Jaya, Penang is seeking a motivated and experienced Structure Design Engineer to join the team.
Key responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for Building and Civil Structures
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications and design reports
- Coordinate Structural Works with Architects, M&E Consultants, Contractors and other disciplines
- Review Structural Drawings and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical solutions to site-related structural issues
- Assist in preparing technical documents and submission where required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience in structural design
- Familiar with STRUCTURE DESIGN SOFTWARE (must be able to handle CAD, ESTEEM and STAAD PRO)
- Must be able to handle and design all STRUCTURE DESIGN without any guidance
- Independent and hardworking
