STRUCTURE SUPERVISOR

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structure Supervisor to join SEN HENG RESOURCES SDN. BHD. in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing structural construction activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. As Structure Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing on-site teams, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes. This role is essential to the successful delivery of our construction projects and represents a key leadership position within our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all structural construction activities on-site, including formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, and structural assembly
• Manage and direct construction teams, including labourers, skilled tradespeople, and subcontractors, ensuring productive and efficient work practices
• Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets, identifying and addressing delays or cost overruns promptly
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings to ensure all team members understand safety protocols and project requirements
• Inspect structural work to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily reports, progress documentation, and safety logs
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide regular updates and resolve any on-site issues
• Ensure strict adherence to occupational health and safety regulations and company safety policies
• Identify and report hazards, near-misses, and incidents; implement corrective actions as necessary
• Manage site materials and equipment, including ordering, storage, and maintenance
• Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in structural construction supervision or related supervisory roles
• Strong knowledge of structural construction methods, materials, and building codes applicable in Malaysia
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction teams and multiple concurrent projects
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations, including Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) standards
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans
• Competent in basic project management, budgeting, and scheduling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Problem-solving ability and sound judgement in making on-site decisions
• CIDB registration or equivalent professional qualifications in construction supervision (preferred)
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various project sites
• Fluency in English and Malay (both spoken and written)
• ONLY MALAYSIAN CHINSESE CANDIDATE
