Structure Technician - Advance steel

Axium Global is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in structural drafting and detailing within a structural consultancy or engineering environment, with strong proficiency in Advance Steel and a sound understanding of RCC and structural steel detailing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural drawings, models and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit and Advance Steel.
• Develop structural General Arrangement (GA) drawings and detailed steel drawings for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Coordinate with structural engineers to translate design concepts and engineering inputs into accurate, construction-ready drawings.
• Interpret engineering sketches, design specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare structural detailing for RCC and steel structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Support the preparation of submission drawings, as-built drawings and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with design and project teams to resolve technical and drawing-related issues.
• Maintain drawing quality, consistency and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a structural consultancy or engineering firm.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Advance Steel is essential.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing, modelling and drawing preparation.
• Good understanding of RCC and steel structures, building construction techniques and structural drawings.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and exposure to Revit Structure.
• Familiarity with STAAD.Pro or ETABS will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining drawing quality and meeting deadlines.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
