The Position:

A leading global law firm is seeking a Structured Credit Associate to join its New York office. This is a great opportunity to join a firm that has been established since 1866, and has since built an outstanding global reputation as a market leader.

The Team:

The Structured Credit team is a market-leading practice that advises major financial institutions, investment managers, lenders and borrowers on complex structured finance transactions, particularly collateralised loan obligations (CLOs), securitisations and innovative financing structures. The team combines expertise in finance, restructuring and insolvency to provide clients with commercially focused advice, including on distressed credit situations and rescue financing. With a strong international presence across London and the US, the team is recognised for its technical expertise, innovative approach and ability to execute sophisticated transactions. Its leading industry rankings and experience advising on high-value, complex deals make it one of the most prominent practices in the structured credit market.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A minimum of two years of meaningful law firm experience.
• Admitted to the New York bar, or eligibility to waive into the bar.
• Strong understanding of structured credit matters, with complementary experience in an array of finance transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage substantial portions of transactions with increasing levels of autonomy.
