Structured Finance Attorney

The Position:

A leading global law firm is seeking a Structured Finance Associate to join its Charlotte office. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value structured finance transactions, advising leading financial institutions, investment banks, asset managers, lenders, issuers, and other major market participants. The practice encompasses a broad range of structured finance and securitization matters, including asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, receivables financing, warehouse facilities, structured lending arrangements, and other complex financing transactions.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the North Carolina Bar, or eligibility to obtain admission.
• Relevant experience in structured finance, securitization, capital markets, banking and finance, or related transactional practice areas.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex financing and transaction documentation.
• Familiarity with asset-backed securities, securitization structures, structured lending, receivables financing, or other asset-based financing arrangements is highly desirable.
• Understanding of the legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations involved in structured finance transactions.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
