Role Overview

As a Technical Expert , you will serve as an enterprise technical authority on aircraft structural design—leading design strategy, resolving complex integration challenges, and mentoring engineering teams. Your scope spans configuration, 3D modeling, production, certification, and in-service support.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Design: Develop and review 3D models, assemblies, metallic/composite parts, joints, GD&T, and installation drawings.
• Integration & Governance: Coordinate across disciplines (stress, systems, manufacturing, quality) to resolve geometric conflicts and lead trade studies.
• Certification & Support: Drive root-cause analysis, supplier/production engineering changes, and PLM configuration control.
• Technical Leadership: Guide design architecture, mitigate technical risks, and define organizational standards.

What You Bring

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s in Aerospace, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline + 15+ years in aerospace structural design.
• Tools: Proficiency in CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and PLM workflows; knowledge of NX and Teamcenter is an asset.
• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in metallic/composite design, GD&T, aerospace materials, certification standards, and producibility.
• Languages: English (fluent required); French is an asset.
