VP Aviation is hiring experienced technicians for Aircraft Structures Mechanic Jobs in Lake City Florida supporting heavy maintenance and C-checks on commercial aircraft. This is an open-ended contract opportunity offering long-term work for experienced aircraft structures mechanics.

Pay

Earn $1,200 per week at 40 hours, not including overtime.

Aircraft Structures Mechanic Responsibilities

As an Aircraft Structures Mechanic, you will:

• Perform structural repairs during heavy maintenance and C-checks on Airbus aircraft.
• Fabricate, repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structural components.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.
• Complete assigned work using approved maintenance procedures.
• Accurately document completed maintenance.
• Use hand tools, gauges, measuring equipment and specialty tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work with other aircraft technicians to meet production schedules.

Requirements

Qualified candidates should have:

• At least 2 years of commercial aircraft structures experience.
• Previous heavy maintenance or C-check experience preferred.
• Knowledge of aircraft structural repair methods and maintenance documentation.
• Experience fabricating, repairing, replacing and rebuilding aircraft structures.
• Your own tools and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Availability to work any assigned shift.
