SUMMARY: currently searching for one Part-Time structural engineering student assistant to work on structural models, under the supervision of Dr. Sunai Kim.

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):

The part-time student assistant will assist in building structural models to aid in students’ understanding of fundamental engineering concepts.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be self-sufficient and proactive in creating and testing the structural models

• Communicate clearly on the materials needed

• Provide technical support with accuracy and timeliness

• Excellent communication skills (in-person, Zoom), with prompt responses to emails

• Must demonstrate honesty and detailed book-keeping for hours worked

• Demonstrate responsibility, helpfulness, and professionalism for the tasks given, to be able to complete them independently

• Ability to work well with various people including students, faculty, and staff

• Be motivated, punctual, and show initiative

PREFERRED

Excellent communication skills, knowledge of university paperwork processes.
