Student Assistant, Intern JBC Library

Library assistants will assist the Library operations, archives, and mail services, provide patron services associated with Service desk, and provide front-line services in the library MakerSpace.,

• Working at the information desk, greeting and assisting patrons with locating materials, checking items in and out, and providing basic library information.
• Working in the Library MakerSpace as an attendant providing advice and assistance using equipment and materials
• Assisting with library operations, including special events, displays, and projects
• Receiving, processing, and re-shelving returns, as well as participating in stacks maintenance and inventory projects
• Working with library archives materials to assist with digitization projects, special displays, and special projects
• Sanitizing, cleaning, and organizing patron areas to promote a welcoming and usable environment
• Other duties as assigned

• Good academic standing, customer service oriented, reliable, and ability to push/pull 25lbs
• Required enrollment in professional experience by design course
