About the role
As a Student Care Teacher, you will be responsible for the well-being and development of children in our student care program. Your role will involve planning and implementing activities, providing academic support, and fostering a safe and supportive environment for students.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of students at all times, both indoors and outdoors
- Assist students with homework, assignments, and academic enrichment activities
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities and programs that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Support positive behavior management strategies and encourage positive social interactions among students
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the student care center
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a clean and secure environment for students
