JOB SUMMARY

Catalyst Education is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team in Calicut. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, generating admissions, handling leads, and achieving monthly enrollment targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Counsel students and parents about courses and career opportunities.
• Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs.
• Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, and direct interactions.
• Follow up with prospective students and parents regularly.
• Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
• Handle objections and provide appropriate solutions to prospective students.
• Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records in CRM.
• Build strong relationships with students and parents.
• Coordinate with the Academic, Marketing, and Sales teams.
• Participate in seminars, career guidance sessions, and promotional activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Any Degree.
• 0–2 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Sales, Inside Sales, or EdTech preferred.
• Freshers with excellent communication and sales skills can also apply.
• Excellent Malayalam and English communication skills.
• Strong counselling, persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Good follow-up and customer-handling abilities.
• Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
• Basic knowledge of CRM and MS Office.
