Role Overview

This is a dual role. As a counselor, you'll guide students and parents in choosing the right country, course and university, and support them through applications, scholarships, loans and visas. As a marketing executive, you'll generate quality leads through school and college outreach, seminars, education fairs and digital campaigns, then convert them into enrollments.

Key Responsibilities

Study-Abroad Counseling

• Counsel students and parents (walk-ins, phone, WhatsApp and Zoom) on study options for UG, PG, MBA, diploma, MBBS and specialized programs
• Profile each student's academics, budget and career goals to recommend the best-fit country, course and university
• Guide students on test requirements (IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT and entrance exams) and eligibility
• Follow up consistently to convert enquiries into enrollments, and keep all records updated in the CRM

Marketing and Lead Generation

• Build tie-ups with schools, PU colleges, degree and engineering colleges across Bengaluru and Karnataka for seminars and presentations
• Support social media campaigns on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, plus WhatsApp and email outreach
• Work with the digital team on ads, landing pages, blog content and Google reviews
• Collect student success stories and testimonials for marketing
• Build a referral network through alumni, parents and partner institutions
• Achieve monthly targets for leads, counseling sessions, applications and enrollments

Reporting

• Share daily and weekly reports on enquiries, conversions, applications, visas and campaign results
• Share student feedback to help improve services and campaigns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Marketing or a counseling or psychology background is a plus)
• 1–3 years of experience in study-abroad counseling, admissions, or education sales/marketing
• Good working knowledge of admission and visa processes for major destinations (UK, USA, Europe, Canada, Australia)
• Excellent spoken and written English; Kannada and Hindi preferred
• Warm, honest and persuasive in conversations with students and parents
• Target-driven, with a record of meeting enrollment or sales goals
• Comfortable with MS Office / Google Workspace; CRM experience preferred
• Willing to travel within Bengaluru and Karnataka for outreach and events
