Student Development Associate- Operations

Location: Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru, India

Role Purpose:

The Associate – Operations, Student Development will own the data, MIS and reporting backbone of the Student Development function , ensuring that accurate and timely information is available across programs, campuses and student cohorts.

The role will be responsible for collecting, consolidating, maintaining and analysing program data , building and managing central trackers and dashboards, and providing regular MIS and insights to support program planning, reviews and decision-making.

This is a data and operations-focused role requiring strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, high attention to detail, analytical thinking and strong follow-through. The role will work closely with Head - Student Development, Program Managers and campus teams to ensure data is consistently captured, accurately maintained and translated into meaningful insights for the Student Development function.

Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Program Operations & Tracking

• Build and maintain central trackers for Student Development programs, including timelines, milestones, owners, campuses and participation.
• Track program progress, pending actions, key deadlines and operational requirements with Program Managers and relevant stakeholders.
• Support program readiness by coordinating student lists, permissions, consent documentation, staffing and other requirements with campus teams.
• Maintain program documentation and support program closure through collection of participation data, feedback, financial information and other required records.

2. Data Management & MIS

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Student Development data across programs, campuses and student cohorts.
• Collect, consolidate and organise data from Program Managers and campus teams, and prepare regular MIS reports and dashboards.
• Analyse data to identify participation, trends, gaps and key insights for program and leadership reviews, using AI tools where appropriate to support analysis and reporting.
• Provide timely and accurate data to support planning, decision-making and review across the Student Development function.

3. Systems, Processes & Continuous Improvement

• Build and maintain Excel/Google Sheets-based trackers, databases, templates and reporting systems.
• Develop simple processes and standards to improve consistency and efficiency across programs and campuses.
• Identify opportunities to simplify tracking, improve data quality and make reporting processes more efficient, including through the effective use of AI and other digital tools.
• Continuously improve systems and processes based on the evolving needs of the Student Development function.

Experience & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in program operations, project coordination, MIS, business operations, school operations or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets , with experience managing trackers, databases, reports or dashboards.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, reporting or documentation.
• Strong coordination and follow-through across multiple stakeholders; experience in education, schools, youth programs or a similar environment is an advantage.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in:

• Excel / Google Sheets: Strong working knowledge, including formulas, lookups and data management.
• Data Management & Analysis: Ability to clean, consolidate, organise and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Trackers & Reporting: Experience building and maintaining program trackers, dashboards and basic data visualisations.
• AI Tools: Practical use of AI tools for data analysis, reporting, documentation and workflow efficiency.
