Student Paramedic

We are seeking a responsible, qualified, and caring Campus Nurse / Paramedic to provide first-line medical support and help maintain a safe and healthy campus environment.

The selected candidate will assist with routine health concerns, first aid, medical emergencies, health records, and coordination with hospitals or healthcare providers when required.

For a suitable candidate, the position may also include additional responsibilities as a Warden / Junior Warden, supporting student welfare, supervision, discipline, and residential campus operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesMedical and Health Support

• Provide first aid and initial assessment for students and staff who feel unwell or sustain injuries.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the scope of professional training.
• Monitor student health concerns and coordinate medical consultations or hospital referrals when necessary.
• Maintain appropriate health records, incident reports, and first-aid inventories.
• Administer medication only in accordance with authorised procedures, applicable requirements, and institutional policies.
• Communicate with parents or guardians and designated campus authorities regarding health concerns, following appropriate protocols.
• Support basic health awareness, hygiene, illness prevention, and campus wellness initiatives.
• Coordinate with local hospitals, clinics, and emergency services when needed.

Additional Warden / Junior Warden Responsibilities

Applicable if the candidate is selected for the dual role.

• Support the day-to-day supervision and welfare of students residing on campus.
• Help maintain discipline, safety, hygiene, and appropriate conduct in residential areas.
• Assist with attendance, student movement, and routine residential records.
• Respond to student welfare concerns and escalate medical, behavioural, or safeguarding issues appropriately.
• Coordinate with the Chief Warden, school administration, and other designated staff.
• Help ensure that campus residential rules and student safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications and Experience

• GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification with applicable professional registration for nursing applicants; alternatively, a recognised paramedical qualification relevant to the duties assigned.
• Relevant experience in a hospital, clinic, school, residential institution, or similar setting is preferred.
• Current first-aid and emergency response training is desirable.
• Good communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, responsible, and student-focused attitude.
• Ability to handle urgent situations calmly and maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to take on additional residential supervision duties if considered for the dual role

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
