What they need
Are you passionate about supporting students to learn while building their independence and work-related skills ready for adulthood?
Can you build positive relationships with students that will allow them to maximise their learning experience?
Do you have experience as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA)?
Buckinghamshire College Group is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Advocates to join our dynamic teams in Aylesbury Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a permanent, term-time only (38 weeks per year) role where you will support students to achieve their learning potential and inspire them to become independent, confident individuals. If you’re ready to be part of a team that’s passionate about making a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
As a SEND Advocate, you will support students to access the curriculum, achieve their qualifications, and reach their full potential. You will provide tailored learning support to students in classrooms, workshops, and beyond — working 1:1 or in small groups. Collaboration with tutors and colleagues in SEND Support is key to delivering effective, personalised support. At BCG, we empower learners to become independent, confident individuals, preparing them for employment, further study, and adult life.
The full-time role is 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum. We are open to considering part time and job share positions.
If you are compassionate, empathetic and a strong communicator, we would love to hear from you. Experience working previously in SEND, including as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) is desirable but not essential.
Apply now and join us in our mission to empower every student to reach their full potential!
