Student Support Officer

About the role

A proactive, adaptable and student-focused Student Support Officer to support learners throughout their training journey, from enrolment through to graduation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring students feel supported, informed and engaged throughout their studies, while helping maintain efficient student administration and communication.

Key responsibilities

• Support students throughout the full student lifecycle, from enrolment and onboarding through to course completion and graduation including some work placement tasks
• Manage student records, enrolments, progression and administration using Axcelerate
• Respond promptly and professionally to student and team enquiries, providing clear guidance and practical support
• Monitor student progress and proactively follow up on outstanding assessments, overdue tasks and engage with students requiring additional assistance
• Liaise with trainers and assessors, and internal teams to resolve student concerns and support successful outcomes
• Assist with extensions, course progression, completion requirements and graduation processes

About you

• Axcelerate experience is essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to student support

• Highly adaptable and responsive, able to manage changing priorities in a busy environment

• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to follow up and take ownership of tasks
