Studio Assistant – Full Time

Primary Objective

This position reports to the Flora Design Manager & Production Manager and is

responsible assisting with the preparation and cleaning of floral design elements;

“smalls” warehouse organization; light cleaning & building maintenance; maintaining

the processes involved in the flow, set up, and recovery of items from the studio and

warehouse to weddings & events. From an operational standpoint, this individual will

ensure that the Myrtie Blue “smalls” warehouse is clean & organized.

Pay Range

$15-18.5/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities

The Studio Assistant is specifically responsible for the following functions:

(1) Daily ongoing administrative functions

(a) Assist in inventory counts/levels.

(b) Notify Inventory manager of low stock levels, damage and the need for

replacement or repair.

(2) Daily Maintenance

(a) Thorough building check for debris around outside of building - remove

debris/trash.

(b) Weekly Check on restrooms, cleaning and restocking toiletries as necessary

(c) Maintain clean and organized “smalls” warehouse.

(d) Prep, maintain and assist floral department in various tasks – i.e. water tubes,

armatures, vessel preparation.

(e) Assist in main warehouse as needed.

(3) Misc. duties as assigned (Please note that the above Job Responsibilities are not an

exhaustive list and the employee may be asked, as needed, to perform duties

outside of their routine responsibilities in this role.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
