Available Shifts & Schedules

We are currently hiring for three distinct schedules—please let us know in your application which one fits you best:

• Regular Part-Time: Consistent 20–25 hours per week (combination of weekday afternoons/evenings and weekend shifts).
• Seasonal Support: Dedicated coverage during peak studio rush periods, specifically Summer break and Major Holiday seasons (Thanksgiving week, Christmas/Winter break, and Spring break).
• Weekend Only: Saturday and/or Sunday dedicated shifts—ideal for students or professionals looking for steady weekend supplemental income.

What You’ll Do:

• Customer Care: Greet guests with a smile, explain the painting process, help painters pick their pieces and paint colors, and share tips on technique and design tools.
• Host Parties & Events: Lead birthday parties, bachelorette events, and corporate workshops from start to finish—maintaining high energy, guiding steps, and handling clean-up.
• Cashier & Front Desk: Operate our point-of-sale register, ring up pottery and studio fees, wrap finished orders for customer pickup, and answer phone inquiries.
• Inventory & Restocking: Unbox new ceramic shipments, stock shelves, organize paint bottles and brushes, and ensure retail displays look full and vibrant.
• Studio Tidiness: Keep work tables, sinks, brushes, and common areas spotless and sanitized throughout your shift.

What We’re Looking For:

• People-First Attitude: You genuinely enjoy interacting with children, teens, and adults, making every visitor feel welcome and supported.
• Comfort with Crowds: You are confident speaking up, capturing a group's attention, and hosting a party with warmth and energy.
• Detail-Oriented & Organized: You handle fragile ceramics with care and take pride in keeping displays and supplies neat.
• Reliability: Punctuality and commitment to your agreed-upon availability are essential.
• Physical Stamina: Able to be on your feet during shifts and safely lift boxes of pottery/supplies'
• Experience: Previous background in customer service, retail, food service, childcare, summer camp, or event hosting is a strong plus!
