What they need
About Senses
Body Strong, Mind Calm. We are a boutique movement chain in Hong Kong
The Role
We are hiring Studio Community Managers to lead the day-to-day operations at our Senses studios while nurturing the community that makes Senses feel like home. We are hiring across all 5 studios, with our Central studio as the most urgent priority.
This is primarily an operations role — owning studio performance, front-of-house standards, and teacher/staff coordination — with a meaningful community layer: making sure every member, teacher, and walk-in feels seen, supported, and part of something bigger.
You will be key person our members recognise at the front desk, and the person we trust to keep the studio running beautifully.
What You'll Own
Studio Operations (primary focus):
- Own daily operations of your assigned studio — opening/closing standards, cleanliness, retail displays, equipment upkeep, and front-of-house experience
- Own class scheduling, teacher rostering, and substitute coordination in partnership with the central operations team
- Manage studio-level KPIs: attendance, utilisation, retention, NPS, and member feedback
- Manage vendors, maintenance, and facilities issues for your studio, coordinating with HQ where needed
- Escalate and resolve member complaints, incidents, and low-rating reviews
Community & Member Experience
- Build genuine relationships with members — know their names, goals, and journeys
- Run a lightweight community calendar: member socials, workshops, teacher features, seasonal moments
- Support marketing on studio-based campaigns, launches, and collabs (execution side)
- Champion the Senses culture with teachers and staff — celebrate wins, gather feedback, keep morale high
- Represent Senses at community events, partnerships, and brand touchpoints when needed
Leadership
- Line-manage the front-of-house team at your studio
- Work directly with the corporate office and marketing on studio-level performance and initiatives
- Contribute to SOPs, onboarding materials, and the operating playbook shared across all 5 studios
What We're Looking For
Must-have
- 2+ years of operations experience in studio, hospitality, retail, or wellness settings
- Some experience managing or coordinating people, teachers, or front-of-house staff
- Multi-site or multi-team exposure a plus
- Fluent in Cantonese and English (written and spoken)
- Background in wellness, fitness, or boutique studio environments — you understand teachers, class dynamics, and member behaviour
- Strong operator: organised, calm under pressure, comfortable owning numbers and rosters
- Warm, high-EQ presence with members and staff
Nice-to-have
- Personal practice in yoga, Pilates, or another movement discipline
- Experience with community-building, events, or partnerships
- Exposure to physiotherapy or clinical wellness settings
- Existing network in the HK wellness or hospitality scene
What You'll Get
- A key role at a fast-growing HK wellness brand with clear expansion plans
- Competitive salary + performance bonus
- Complimentary wellness classes (yoga / Pilates) at Senses studios
- Real ownership of how Senses feels — for our members, teachers, and team
