What they need
Studio Director | Part-Time
Live Love Flow | Green Lake, Seattle, WA
A Little About Us
Live Love Flow is a neighborhood yoga and fitness studio in Green Lake, Seattle. We offer heated Vinyasa Yoga, Sculpt, HIIT Mat Pilates, and restorative classes, with a focus on making movement accessible, enjoyable, and part of our members' everyday lives.
We're a small, locally owned business with a dedicated group of instructors and a growing community. We're looking for a Studio Director who can help us build on what we've started and keep the studio moving in the right direction.
What We're Hiring For
We're looking for someone who enjoys both the people side and the business side of running a fitness studio.
As our Studio Director, you'll be responsible for keeping studio operations on track, building relationships with members, supporting our instructors, and finding ways to bring new clients through our doors.
This isn't a position where you'll spend your entire shift behind a front desk. We want someone who's comfortable taking the lead, making decisions, and following through on ideas.
You'll work closely with the owners, with the flexibility to manage your own priorities and contribute to how the studio operates and grows.
What Your Week Might Look Like
Keeping the Studio Running
- Make sure classes, instructors, and daily studio operations are running smoothly.
- Manage the class schedule, instructor availability, and substitute coverage.
- Respond to member questions and resolve account or booking issues.
- Keep an eye on studio supplies, cleanliness, and the overall experience.
- Help with instructor onboarding and general team coordination.
Growing Our Membership
- Connect with new clients after their first visit and help them find the right membership or class package.
- Follow up with introductory clients and members who haven't visited in a while.
- Keep track of attendance, membership sales, and client retention.
- Look for ways to improve class participation and bring more people into the studio.
- Help put together seasonal offers, referral incentives, and membership promotions.
Getting Live Love Flow Out There
- Create and share social media content that reflects what's happening at the studio.
- Help coordinate email newsletters, announcements, and promotional campaigns.
- Connect with neighboring businesses for potential collaborations and cross-promotions.
- Organize occasional workshops, community events, and special classes.
- Find creative ways to introduce Live Love Flow to more people around Green Lake.
Making Things Better
- Pay attention to member feedback and identify areas that need improvement.
- Work with the owners to review class performance and schedule changes.
- Suggest practical ideas to improve how we operate and serve our members.
- Take ownership of projects and follow them through from start to finish.
What We're Looking For
We're open to candidates from different backgrounds, but we'd love to meet someone who has:
- Experience managing a fitness studio, wellness business, or customer-facing operation.
- A good understanding of sales, customer service, and what keeps people coming back.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- The confidence to make decisions and work without constant supervision.
- An outgoing personality and an interest in getting to know our members.
- Experience with social media, basic content creation, or digital marketing.
- Comfort using technology and learning new software.
- A genuine interest in yoga, Pilates, fitness, or wellness.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with Mindbody or a similar studio booking platform.
- Familiarity with Canva, Squarespace, or email marketing software.
- Previously worked on membership sales or retention for a fitness business.
- Existing connections within the Green Lake or greater Seattle fitness community.
What You Can Expect From Us
- $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
- Approximately 15–25 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling with on-site availability required.
- Complimentary unlimited studio membership.
- Employee discounts.
- Direct involvement in studio planning and decision-making.
- The opportunity to take on more responsibility as the business grows.
Sound Like Your Kind of Role?
We don't expect you to have experience in every part of running a studio. What matters most is that you're dependable, good with people, comfortable taking responsibility, and genuinely interested in helping a small business succeed.
We're especially interested in someone who can balance the day-to-day details with a focus on bringing in new members and keeping our existing community engaged.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, we'd love to learn more about you.
